Privacy Policy

1. Your records

HourBank stores client contact details, projects, tasks, time entries, invoices, and preferences on your device. You can also save a business identity and images for use in the app and invoice PDFs.

2. Local mode and existing accounts

You can start locally without an account. Business records are stored in a local SQLite database, and your local profile is saved using the device’s secure storage. Core time tracking and invoicing do not require an internet connection.

Existing account holders can still sign in through Supabase. That service processes sign-in information and may hold account profile information and images uploaded through legacy account features. This version does not provide automatic cloud synchronization or a cloud backup of your time-tracking and invoice records.

3. Purchases and service providers

Apple processes in-app purchases. RevenueCat helps HourBank check purchases and restore Pro access, including in local mode. Purchase-related identifiers, transaction information, and app/device information are processed to provide those services. Internet access is required for purchase and restore operations. HourBank does not receive your payment-card details.

Supabase supports existing-account authentication and legacy profile/image services. Using local mode does not require you to create a Supabase account.

4. Sharing and permissions

Invoice PDFs and exported files leave the app when you choose a destination in your device’s share sheet. Those files may contain your business details and client records. The selected app or service handles the shared copy under its own terms. Opening or cancelling a share sheet does not verify delivery.

Camera and photo-library access are used when you choose images. Notifications are optional and can be managed in device settings. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Keeping and deleting data

Local records remain on the device until you delete them or remove the app. Removing the app or clearing its data can permanently remove records. CSV exports and invoice PDFs are not a complete restorable app backup. We cannot recover local-only records that were not separately saved.

Existing account holders can access account deletion in Settings. Contact us for help with account information held by our service providers. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase records as required to provide purchase services or meet legal obligations.

6. Your rights

You can edit local records and export the record types offered in Settings → Export Data. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account information. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to restriction, objection, or data portability. Local-only records are not available to us unless you choose to share them.

7. Children

HourBank is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
